General Hospital May Have Just Begun Cassius’ Unraveling — and There Will Be Hell to Pay When [Spoiler] Figures It Out!

Now that she’s talked things out with Maxie, and “Nathan’s” deeply embroiled in protecting Rocco, General Hospital‘s Lulu, it’s safe to say, is all in on this relationship. But that doesn’t mean she’s oblivious to “Nathan’s” oddities.

Alexa Havins told Soap  that she’s been “weaving” into Lulu parts of her that “feels like there’s something curious here, something interesting, that she can’t quite put her finger on.”

And it would make sense for the reporter in Lulu to have questions about “Nathan,” in light of his missing seven years — not to mention the slips of the tongue. Havins didn’t know where this was going but that didn’t stop her from clocking things like “Nathan’s” snowstorm confession about his dad making him memorize the periodic table.

That, she said, “was a little nugget that I definitely jumped on. I was like, ‘Ooh, where are they going with this?!’ I mean, that definitely caught Lulu’s ear.”

So Lulu’s curiosity was kicked up even before Britt’s warning. And while she seemed to shrug off the whole episode as “Britt hates me,” it’s tough to imagine her completely ignoring the episode. “Nathan’s changed” is bound to resonate with her own curiosity, and the slip-ups she’s noticed about Nathan that haven’t matched up with what she knows about him.

If Lulu was already curious, Britt’s warning, whether she likes it or not, could push her into finally digging for answers she’s not going to be happy about. At this point, Lulu is the person closest to Cassius, and the one most likely to figure everything out. And she’s also one of the people with the most to lose.

Cassius may truly care for Lulu, but once she finds out how much he’s lied to and betrayed her, she’s going to be horrified — and furious! She is the daughter of Luke and Laura, after all, and woe on Cassius if she decides he needs to pay!

Of course, if Britt’s the one who ends up bringing this all to a head, it may be a race between Cassius and a furious Lulu to see who gets to her first!
