Bold & Beautiful Exclusive: After Ivy’s Called Out, Ashleigh Brewer Warns We Haven’t ‘Scratched the Surface of What She Is Capable Of’

The fit really hit the shan on Bold & Beautiful Monday (read the full recap here). Cornered by Electra, Ivy not only confessed that she stole her niece’s love note to Will — which nailed shut the coffin on the kids’ tumultuous relationship — the puppet master said that if she had it do all over, she would. After speaking with Ashleigh Brewer, we don’t doubt it!

Riled-Up Ivy Will Not Back Down

Ivy’s behavior may seem extreme to us, but Brewer tells Soaps.com that her character has returned to town a changed woman — and, as we well know, one with very strong opinions about what is and isn’t proper! “Ivy has lived a lot of life since we last saw her in L.A.” — a lot of life to which viewers were not privy.

So “I don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface of what she is capable of,” she adds. “She’s bolder and stronger than ever.”

Ivy’s Called Out But Not Giving In

In other words, if you think that “Wilectra” stands a chance of living happily ever after now that Electra knows her boyfriend didn’t blow her off when she arranged a game-changing showroom tryst, you’d be wronger than wrong. Ivy remains hell-bent on pairing her niece with R.J., and no amount of scolding — from anyone — is going to deter her from achieving that goal.

“She has a big heart,” Brewer says, “and her skin is thick!”

What’s Next?

Given that R.J.’s hatred of Will has gotten so intense, he’s started walking around Forrester Creations picking fights with his romantic rival — not to mention pleading with Mommy and Daddy to give him the chop — he’s all but guaranteed to formally team up with Ivy to become Electra’s official new beau. The question is, will the tag team be able to reach their goal before Ivy takes a turn on the backburner while Brewer is on maternity leave? TBD!
