General Hospital’s Steve Burton Confirms His Return and Is Sure Jason’s Already Hard at Work On His Escape

When a star takes off for a bit, their fans are always left with the same question… “When will they return?” This question has likely crossed the minds of those missing Steve Burton’s Jason on General Hospital — and now the actor, who took a temporary leave of absence, has addressed the timeframe for his comeback.

During a chat with his co-host and castmate, Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), on their podcast That’s Awesome, Burton discussed the “most asked question” that the guys have been getting as of late. “The most asked now is when I’m coming back,” Burton stated then added, “If I’m coming back.” Don’t worry, fans, he’ll be back. “Yes, I’m coming back to the show,” Burton confirmed. “I start in June so I’ll be back for sure.”

Now that we know Burton is coming back, do you want to know where Jason has been? When Anderson inquired, Burton replied, “I have no idea,” then went on to explain how he makes this joke at fan Q&As and how he tells them he doesn’t watch the show and doesn’t know anything and how he often learns what’s happening with his character at such events when the storylines are brought up.

Viewers do know, and Burton recalled, that the WSB carted him off to some European prison… However, how he’ll return, we’ll have to wait and see as the storyline unfolds.
