Bold & Beautiful Brouhaha: Katie’s Next Move Will Blow Brooke’s Mind

Brooke’s already on the rampage where Logan’s concerned, but Bold & Beautiful fans ain’t seen nuthin’ yet. Katie’s next move is bound to have her absolutely losing her mind!

Brooke’s had her knickers in a knot over Katie using her last name (which also belongs to her sister, jus’ sayin’) and Eric’s designs. And while she may have managed to eke out an insincere “congratulations” on demand, we’re confident in predicting that things are about to go from bad to worse… much worse.

Bold & Beautiful is rarely subtle and the developments this week are making the writing on the wall crystal clear. With Katie down a designer now that Eric has skedaddled back to Forrester, she’s got a huge void to fill… and few options. Happily for her, circumstances are making it pretty obvious that someone is about to become available. Someone highly controversial.

Katie doesn’t know it yet, but Hope’s once again grown disillusioned with Forrester Creations. Steffy dropped the bomb that her Hope For the Future line is being back-burnered anew so that the firm can focus on couture. Why they’re so strapped that they can’t manage several lines at once is a mystery. Strangely, though, it wasn’t an issue when RJ asked for a men’s line.

Anyway, it’s obvious that Katie’s need for a designer is lining up perfectly, timing-wise, with Hope’s disappointment over Hope For the Future. We couldn’t help but notice Hope suddenly having Katie’s back when it came to the question of whether or not she “stole” Eric’s designs… the scene is very clearly being set for Katie to hire Hope.

While that may be good news for Hope’s brother Deke, who’s been hoping to get hired at the new fashion house, it’s gonna be a real kick in the pants for her mom, Brooke, who’s eyes will be popping out of her skull over this news.

Brooke’s already accused Katie of poaching their last name and Eric’s designs, so adding her own daughter to the list would truly make the fur fly. And rest assured, it will not matter one bit to Brooke that it’s Hope’s decision, she’ll blame Katie all the live long day. Buckle up!
