Now that’s how you do a Friday cliffhanger! At the end of General Hospital‘s Friday episode, Valentin arrived at Drew’s, before Nina could get rid of Brennan. He pulled his gun and seemed pretty darn intent on shooting his former partner, despite Brennan telling him that if something had happened to Joss, they’d need him. Jack lunged, they fought and a desperate Nina intervened, trying to stab him with Drew’s paralyzing drug.
Instead, she stabbed Jack when Val swung them around at the last second! And we all know what that means: Jack’s about to suffer a “stroke!” We don’t think the drug would kill him, but if it’s tailored specifically for Drew, there’s always the possibility it could be a lethal amount for Brennan. But we’re hoping that won’t be the case.
And we’re also hoping that Valentin was bluffing to try to force Jack to tell him what happened to Josslyn. Because if he wasn’t, a paralyzed Brennan would be an easy kill! Nina’s one ace to stop him is gone, and Val still has the gun. There’s nothing she could do to keep Brennan alive.
But if Valentin really wants to help Carly, and truly believes his former partner is behind Joss’ disappearance, then he’d know the man has to be kept alive. But that doesn’t mean anyone has to know where he is! Instead, we’d guess he’s about to have a lot of questions for Nina. And once he finds out what that drug is, why Nina has it and what Willow’s been doing, he’s going to strongarm her into helping him and Carly stuff Brennan away up in his little attic bungalow until they can force him to talk.
Of course, Jack doesn’t actually know where Josslyn is, so that means that he could be trapped for some time as they’ll just assume he’s holding out on them! Either way, we’re pretty sure Jack is about to be the latest Port Charles resident to vanish from sight for a bit — at least unless he can convince Valentin and Carly that Cullum is the real threat, and he can actually help!
For his sake, he might want to hurry up with that last part. Because if Valentin starts believing that he can’t help with Josslyn, he might just decide on some good, old fashioned revenge and follow through on killing him after all.
