Dante Promises to Protect Rocco — and Cullum Demands the Evidence of His Shooting Be Handed Over to Him
Thursday, May 14, 2026: Today on General Hospital, Justine goes head-to-head with Cullum, Carly and Nina trade accusations and threats, and Trina accepts Brook Lynn’s help.

It’s the evening, and Sonny runs into Justine at The Metro Court Gardens. Justine is waiting to meet someone, while Sonny is waiting on Kristina. In the meantime, they enjoy one another’s company.
Sonny thanks her for advising him to give Ric a chance to explain himself, and as it happens, he was just arranging to buy a gift for someone he loves. The coffee importer asks why she went to bat for Ric, given that he’s been a thorn in her side. She says she did it for Sonny, not his brother.
Cullum Makes Demands
As Sonny and Justine make small talk, Cullum appears. He requested to meet with Justine and takes a shot at the Acting D.A. for associating with a criminal like Sonny.
After Cullum and Sonny trade insults, Cullum takes a seat and wants possession of the PCPD’s evidence in his shooting. Justine says the PCPD is in charge of the evidence, not the DA’s office, and frankly, she doesn’t like the WSB violating local and state jurisdiction. She suggests it’s high time she shines a light on the WSB’s violations of US law, and this might just be the high-profile case she needs to boost her career.
Laura and Ezra Have a Tracy Problem
Tracy arrives to meet Laura in her office, and is annoyed to find Ezra there. Laura wanted to talk to Tracy about the latest injunction she’s filed against Sidwell’s helipad. She wants her to drop it.
Tracy won’t let Jenz turn Port Charles into his private airport, pollute the environment, and cause airway congestion. Laura says that, on this subject, she and Ezra agree it will bring business to Port Charles. Tracy only sees it as handing the city over to Jenz on a silver platter.
Laura insists that is not what is happening, and Laura gives Tracy her word that she’s working in the best interests of the city. She asks Tracy to listen to her heart and to trust her. Tracy knows Luke would tell her to trust her, so she will for now. Tracy then exits.
Trina Has Conditions
Brook Lynn arrives at Trina’s place, where Gio also happens to be, and Trina tells her that she wants to accept her offer to arrange a showcase, on the condition that Gio plays with her. Brook Lynn is thrilled to have Gio on board.
Gio suddenly fears that being Brook Lynn’s son could be looked at as favoritism by record execs, but Brook Lynn says people in the business know her and the quality of singers she reps. She believes the execs see pairing Trina with Gio as a testament of her faith in her talents.
Dante Promises to Protect His Son
Dante finds Rocco down by the boathouse and says he knows he shot Cullum. Dante only wants to help his son as he’s his number one priority. Dante asks his son what happened. Rocco goes over the events of the night again. His dad can’t make the fact that he shot someone better for him. Rocco asks, ” Shouldn’t you be arresting me right now?”
Dante says his son shouldn’t be arrested, as he shot Cullum to save a life, and that counts as extenuating circumstances. Under normal conditions, he’d come forward, but Cullum is dangerous, and it will be his word against Rocco’s. Rocco says Britt can back him up, but Dante says she is somehow involved with Cullum and is hiding something.
Rocco defends Britt, but Dante says Britt has lied about dying and lied about Jason shooting Cullum, so nobody will believe her. Dante says his son can’t come forward; he has to act like the shooting never happened. Dante is sorry he has to carry this burden, but Jason and Britt would be dead if not for him. Shooting someone always leaves you with a terrible feeling. Dante says he knows what he’s going through, and he’ll be here for him.
Carly Goes Fishing
At the hospital, Carly confronts Nina and finds it odd that Jack had a stroke as he was in perfect health, and Jack and Drew both having strokes in the same house can’t be a coincidence. Carly suggests Willow and Drew’s house may be toxic, maybe it has black mold or lead paint, and it could be dangerous as her grandchildren spend time there.
Nina thinks Carly and Michael are trying to use this to take the kids from Willow again, but Carly says this isn’t about the kids or Willow but what happened to Jack. Nina yells that the man has a high-stress job, and being in a relationship with her can’t be good for anyone. Carly tells Nina they broke up, but she’s going to find out why he collapsed. Perhaps she’ll push for a blood test on both Jack and Drew…
Nina suggests Carly focus on the fact that Valentin is back in Port Charles, which is bad news for Lulu. Nina didn’t tell the police about Valentin because the cops would likely think she was hiding him. She says she has no idea where Valentin is, and all she knows is that he and Jack had a huge argument at the house, which is likely what led to Jack’s stroke.
Carly tries to suggest that the only reason Jack and Valentin would be at Willow’s house is that she is somehow involved. Perhaps Willow is helping Valentin, and it could get uncomfortable for Willow if the press and WSB find out about this.
Nina suddenly remembers what Valentin and Jack were fighting about: it was Joss! Valentin thought Jack knew where Joss was, and perhaps she should talk to Cullum about their fight, and maybe he might know how Joss is involved…
Drinking Buddies
Britt and Lucas meet at her place to drink away their misery, when Britt gets a text from Sidwell asking when she’s going to the lab. They discuss telling Sidwell the truth about Cullum, but quickly realize there is no easy way to tell Jenz without exposing Marco as stealing meds for her, which would likely lead Sidwell to target Lucas.
Britt knows Cullum and Sidwell will use this project for something horrible, and she thought Jason would get her out of this before she finished it for them. She thinks maybe she should walk away and accept her fate before the project is completed.
Lucas won’t let her walk away and kill herself, which is what would happen without those meds. Marco died to save her and get those meds for her, and Jason would be disappointed in her for giving up. Lucas also tells her that he needs her. She thinks about Rocco, who also needs her, and knows she must stay.
In The Show’s Final Moments
Brook Lynn asks Trina what songs she might want to sing, and Trina and Gio give her a sample of what they’ve been rehearsing.
Britt laughs at the idea of Lucas, of all people, begging her not to leave town. Lucas says they are stuck in this mess and need to keep playing their parts so nobody suspects anything, so they take one more shot before Britt gets back to Wyndemere.
Ezra commends Laura for talking Tracy down and dodging that bullet. Still, Laura says they eventually must go on the offensive and get something on Sidwell. Find something he cares about to get him to make a mistake. Ezra looks like he has an idea…
Carly tells Nina she’ll do her a favor and forget she mentioned Valentin, and having met the man, Cullum is frightening, and they should both steer clear of him. She also hopes Jack makes a speedy recovery and doesn’t end up like Drew…
Cullum makes a swift exit after Justine’s threats, and Sonny tells her that he wishes he could show her how much he enjoyed watching her put Cullum in his place. She suggests they meet at that not-so-public place of his. Sonny tells her to text him and walks off.
Finally, Dante assures Rocco he’ll make sure the truth never comes out, and they hug. Dante then gets a call. It’s Justine who warns him that Cullum wants the evidence from his shooting, and he needs to make sure the WSB never gets their hands on it.
On the next episode of General Hospital, Chase tells Brook Lynn they need to investigate Delilah’s past. Joss yells at Cassius, “I’m a prisoner here!” He tells her she should be thanking him. Curtis spots Isaiah and Portia at the Metro Gardens, and Isaiah has his hands on Portia’s belly. Curtis yells, “Take your hands off my child!”
