General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that an exciting cast addition is on the way. CDL previously teased that some new male cast members would be hitting the screen, so now there’s confirmation on one of them.
Multiple sources repor that Dean Geyer has been cast in the role of Tristan Roberts and that he started filming on June 1.
That’s the same day GH celebrated taping their 16,000th episode, which will air on July 13.
Geyer is on contract, so the show clearly wanted to lock him in for a while.
It’ll be interesting to see who Geyer’s character interacts with and who he might fall for once he makes his debut.
Of course, we can’t ignore how familiar Geyer’s character name sounds!
If you’re thinking Tristan Roberts seems awfully close to Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio), there’s a good reason for that.
The name serves as a bit of a tribute to Rogers, who passed away back in 2025.

Perhaps Geyer can put his skills to good use on-screen at some point if the role calls for it.
