General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Attempted Murder, Sidwell Strikes Back with Devastating Blow?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could be in serious danger now that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is a fugitive.
Sidwell was obviously livid over Sonny and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) using Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) to their advantage recently.
Lucas stole the photos and negatives that connected Sonny and Laura to Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) body, so Sonny burned all the blackmail evidence.
In addition to Sidwell losing his leverage, he fell into Lucas’ police trap.
Sidwell was arrested before he ended up on the run, but that doesn’t mean Sonny and Laura’s nightmare is truly over.
Based on what GH fans know about Sidwell, he won’t be the kind of guy who just accepts defeat.
Sidwell may end up plotting Sonny’s murder at some point, especially since Marco Rios (Andrew Hawkes) was previously so adamant about taking Sonny down.
It’d be easy for Sidwell to secretly go after Sonny or perhaps send one of his goons to do his dirty work.
There may come a point when Sonny falls into a trap like Sidwell did – one that Sidwell hopes will prove fatal.
Sidwell remains torn up over the loss of Marco, who repeatedly pushed his father to avenge Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) and wipe Sonny off the map.
Now that Sonny has gone too far in Sidwell’s eyes, Jenz may be ready to target his rival and make him pay for everything.
That includes Sonny’s latest moves involving Lucas.
Sidwell could go after Sonny’s family members too, so that’s something to keep in mind.
However, Sonny himself could potentially land in the most danger if vengeful Sidwell tries to send him to an early grave.
Sonny will inevitably survive whatever twisted payback scheme Sidwell might be cooking up, but there could still be a close call!
Maybe Sonny could even face a hospital crisis that leaves his loved ones fearing the worst.
Whatever the case, Sonny isn’t going to get off scot-free when it comes to Sidwell, who may try to finish his enemy once and for all.
