Bill and Wyatt Look Forward to Brooke and Ridge’s Heads Exploding — and Electra Makes a Confession

At Logan, Katie tells Hope she’s so proud of her strength and courage and they embrace. A tear rolls down Hope’s cheek. Katie repeats that if Brooke sees how happy she is and can’t be happy for her, that’s on her. If Katie had a daughter, she’d want her to be just like her.

In another office, Bill exclaims over Wyatt getting the Hope For the Future diamond. Wyatt crows that he should never underestimate his most handsome son. They both turn to look at a sheepish Liam.

Liam asks Wyatt to clarify that it’s not the copy he showed him the other day. Bill asks why he wouldn’t bring the real thing. Wyatt explains to his dad that carrying the original around freaks him out. Bill doesn’t care what it costs, he wants that diamond. “Do you understand me?!” he bellows.

They grill Wyatt about how he got the diamond, but he won’t tell them. Plausible deniability. They go over Bill wanting the bauble to stick it to Forrester. Bill rants about Katie being slighted. She’s out from under Brooke’s shadow and is never going back. Wyatt and Liam still think he’ll relish Ridge’s reaction.

Bill and Liam head out to meet with Katie and Hope and Bill warns Wyatt not to go anywhere with the diamond. “You’re cemented in place.” Shauna tries to hold the diamond after they exit, but Wyatt will only allow her to admire it from afar.

Meanwhile, Katie and Hope update Bill and Liam that Hope is committed. They’re happy and relieved. Bill declares that she’ll blow the fashion industry away.

Needing Hope

At Forrester, Brooke updates Donna that the couture line will drop this week. Donna’s so stoked for Eric and ruminates about their husbands getting their accolades. Brooke can’t help but note that Katie and Bill will be very upset at their success. “Logan cannot compete with Forrester.”

Donna wouldn’t count Logan out, but Brooke scoffs that Katie will need a miracle. “She needs hope. Hope and nothing more.” If she only knew! Brooke goes on to Donna about Hope bringing back her HFTF collection at Forrester… her baby. She’s coming back home where she belongs and everything is going to get better and better. Rainbows and flowers and ice cream for everyone!

Obsessed

In the design office, Electra tells Dylan she’s feeling nervous about her first line without Ivy. She wishes she had something like the Hope For the Future diamond (of course) to blow everyone away. She explains that no one knows where it is and shows her a photo of it.

In an absolute marvel of coincidental timing, Electra confesses that the HFTF diamond has long been an obsession for her. She’d love to get it back, but there’s no way, after all these years, it would just show up.

The Final Scenes

At Logan, Shauna and Wyatt marvel over the HFTF diamond until Bill comes in and tells Shauna that he’s sure Katie and the design team will be on board with her jewelry line. Wyatt hands Bill the gem, and they exchange sly smiles as Wyatt predicts that Ridge and Brooke’s heads will explode.

Elsewhere at Logan, Liam assures Hope that she is loved, respected and admired there. “The sky is the limit.” Hope admits she had doubts about going through with this but tells Katie she’s right about everything. “There’s no turning back now.”

At Forrester, Brooke tells Donna that things are better than ever with Hope, she just wishes the same was true of her sister. She’s still not over what happened with her and Bill. Donna notes it happened twice, actually. Brooke thinks Katie needs to get over the past.

Donna sighs as Brooke recaps that she stole Eric and her last name. At least they don’t have to worry about her poaching anymore. Brooke wants to focus on Hope coming back to Forrester very, very soon.
