General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Escapes France Facility – Returns to Port Charles To Ambush Enemies?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of June 22-26 suggest Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will successfully escape her mental health facility in France after many failed attempts and head back home to Port Charles.
She’ll likely also go underground so she can launch an attack on her enemies.
As fans know, Anna is returning to the canvas this week during the Wednesday, June 24 show, and if she’s back onscreen, she’s likely going to make her way back to the little town.
The General Hospital weekly preview shows Anna in a hospital bed, as two French doctors greet her.
Anna looks less than pleased as the two medical professionals say hello, while she knits away in bed.
General Hospital spoilers for the Friday, June 26 show imply that Anna will take a huge risk, so it looks like she’ll give it the ol’ college try once again, to leave her current situation.
It also seems as if the knitting needles she has in her hands could play a major role in her escape, so will she simply use them to provide an element of surprise or really hurt someone in the process?
It’s hard to gauge where Anna’s mental health is at this point.
Fans last saw Anna in February of this year, and thanks to the gaslighting that occurred in her Wyndemere prison cell at the hands of WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), she was in a really fragile state.
Everyone at the clinic seemed to think that Anna was mentally unhealthy, considering how terribly afraid she was of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), how she believed he was still alive, and that her loved ones were in danger.
Still, it’s been many months since Anna was last seen, so she may have her wits about her again.
She may realize that she was fooled into believing that Cesar was not dead, and it sounds like Anna could be out for revenge against those who held her captive and tricked her.
General Hospital spoilers for the summer suggest that Anna will be in the know about Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) but won’t be able to tell others because she’s institutionalized.
This might explain why she’ll still be desperate to escape, even after all these months, as she’ll want everyone to know that “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) is not Nathan.
In addition, summer previews imply that “happy reunions” with family and friends will be influenced by an unreliable source, and Anna will have “deadly intentions” upon her return to PC.
There’s a good chance that Anna escapes her facility this week as fans get an update on what she’s been through at the clinic over the past four to five months.
With that said, if Anna escapes her mental health imprisonment, it’s highly unlikely that she’ll resurface in her hometown right away.
She’ll stay underground so she can expose Cassius and potentially end Cullum’s life.
Anna will want to rove she wasn’t as crazy as those medical “experts” in France thought she was, and protect her friends and family.
Still, will she be the one to end Cullum’s nasty reign and throw Cassius under the bus?
