The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Kidnapped, Patty’s Creepy Doctor Holding Jack’s Wife Captive?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) may have a secret ally who’s willing to go to great lengths for her.
Patty’s partner in crime could be the one holding Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) hostage while Patty’s busy trying to pull Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) closer.
Of course, Diane’s disappearance quickly raised Jack’s suspicions about Patty’s involvement.
Patty keeps acting like Diane must’ve bailed on Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but they don’t believe she would just abandon them again.
Since Patty had already been hinting about getting Diane out of the way, it makes sense that she took action. However, Patty surely didn’t do it alone!
That brings us to Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns), who’ll make his debut for a multi-episode Y&R arc starting June 15.
It looks like Diane may emerge from a drugged slumber and go roaming through a house that belongs to the shady doc.
Laurence will eventually appear and have a tense conversation with Diane, so she may think this has Patty written all over it.
Diane might end up grilling Laurence and figuring out that he’s part of a Patty alliance.
Perhaps Dr. Markham helped Patty “prove” she was rehabilitated and get released from her psychiatric facility.
Although Patty isn’t as unhinged as she was in the past, she’s still unwell and capable of despicable things.
Patty clearly has lingering issues, but she may have manipulated Dr. Markham into helping her get out anyway.
Now Patty may have called on Laurence to pitch in with her Diane kidnapping plot, too.
Laurence may be on hostage babysitting duty and has perhaps been drugging Diane ever since she got snatched.
Patty may have convinced Laurence to take Diane back to his place, where Diane will have to remain until she can figure out a solution.
It’ll be interesting to find out Laurence’s motives if he’s indeed working with Patty.
Is Laurence in love with Patty or getting manipulated some other way?
Blackmail is another possible option, so stay tuned for more news on Laurence and what he’s hiding.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dr. Markham is tangled up in all this and may have a Patty partnership that’s causing chaos.
