The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will show Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) a version of himself that she hasn’t seen before.
Holden and Lily’s half-sibling connection is going to be a game-changing revelation in more ways than one.
Y&R fans will recall that when Holden made his debut, he posed as Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).
Once the truth came out, it immediately established some distrust since Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) didn’t appreciate being duped.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) has never trusted Holden either, especially since he used to work for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and has a shady history with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
There are plenty of reasons for Nate and Devon to have misgivings about Holden, so it’s not surprising that they’ll initially be wary of his new link to Lily.
Of course, Lily has some lingering issues with Holden too, but those will melt away once he shows he’s willing to step up for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore).
It looks like Holden will be a bone marrow donor match and agree to the life-saving procedure that Malcolm needs.
The fact that Holden’s willing to do this for a bio dad he just found out about will really touch Lily’s heart.
The more time Lily spends with Holden, the more she’ll notice his good qualities.
Lily will start to view Holden as someone she misjudged since he’ll show off a better side of himself.
Holden never had a sibling until now, so he’ll enjoy bonding with Lily now that they know the truth.
It won’t take long for Lily to treat Holden like a true member of the Winters family, but Devon and Nate won’t be so quick to accept him.
Nate and Devon should be grateful over Holden’s donor gift for Malcolm, but that won’t be enough to build trust in their eyes.
Devon and Nate will still view Holden as a manipulative opportunist, so he won’t exactly get a warm welcome to the family.
Lily will have to fight for her half-brother’s acceptance into the Winters fam, so that’ll bring her closer to Holden, too.
Since Lily will probably want to give Holden a job in the family business, that could also leave Nate and Devon uneasy.
Although Lily may convince Devon and Nate to accept Holden sooner or later, she’ll definitely get some pushback early on.
