Days of Our Lives’ Stephanie Just Gave Jeremy Exactly What He Needed to Finish Off Her Marriage — and He’s Already Going for It!

Oh boy. It looks like Stephanie may have just tanked her own marriage on Days of Our Lives’ Monday episode. And shockingly, we don’t mean because she’s keeping secrets from Alex about turning to Jeremy. But it is tied to that because it’s what she said to Jeremy!

Stephanie mentioned how a year ago, Alex wasn’t ready to start a family when he thought he got Joy Wesley pregnant. Fortunately, he found out that it was a false alarm. And that’s when we could practically see the wheels turning in Jeremy’s head. So when he called his dad for a number at the end of the show, we knew exactly who he wanted to talk to: Joy.

When Joy left Salem, she was pregnant, most likely with Alex’s baby. She kept that to herself and skipped out of town, heading to her mom, Nancy. You know, the Nancy who started up a relationship with Jeremy’s dad, Mike, after their reconciliation in Salem. So Jeremy probably knows all about Joy and the fact that she’s, presumably, a mother.

And while Joy may have kept quiet about whose baby she was carrying and gave birth to, it looks like Stephanie just put all the pieces together for Jeremy. And this gives him exactly what he needs to drive a wedge between Steph and Alex and move in for his do-over!

We’ve known Joy was coming back, but couldn’t figure out why — or how she’d have timed it so perfectly to widen the rift growing between Stephanie and Alex. But now we do. Jeremy may not be the abuser he once was, but it’s clear he’s happy to manipulate things to get what he wants.

If he’s playing this game, though, whatever goodwill he may have won after the kidnapping is now gone. For Stephanie’s sake, we hope that whatever happens with Alex and Joy, she slams the door shut in Jeremy’s face for good!
