Bold & Beautiful Bedlam: Brooke’s Big Move Is Bound to Backfire — Here’s How

Brooke’s suddenly on board with a push to replace Steffy as co-CEO of Forrester Creations, but we fear this could create all-out chaos on Bold & Beautiful. We’d go so far as to suggest it may change everything… and not how Brooke is imagining!

Hope’s push to convince Brooke to go after Steffy’s co-CEO position came out of understandable disappointment about her line being backburnered yet again. It took some doing given that Brooke insisted she was content with the way things were and was even on board with the executive decision to focus on couture in light of Logan’s success. But in the end, Brooke tearfully – how else? – announced that her daughter was correct… she was deserving of the promotion.

We were kinda’ left cringing, as this sets up a scenario where Brooke is putting Ridge in a position to have to choose between his wife and his daughter. It’s not the best idea we’ve ever heard, and that’s an understatement. It could totally backfire on Brooke, which isn’t an outcome that she and Hope seem to be considering in their haste. Instead of creating change, it’s entirely possible that they’ll instead create chaos.

If Brooke is about to go to Ridge and give him some kind of ultimatum, she’d best be prepared for what will happen if he doesn’t cave to her demands. While the man’s not known for his backbone when it comes to his wife, it does tend to make unscheduled appearances when she least expects it.

What we’re suggesting is that if Ridge refuses to make Brooke co-CEO (given that there’s no actual reason to do so) and she’s rocked the boat at Forrester Creations, she’d best be prepared to, well, jump ship. If you’ve been paying close attention, you’ll have seen that the groundwork has already been laid for what comes next.

Much has been made about the Logan sisters’ beef, and Brooke suddenly extended an olive branch to Katie the other day. We believe this wasn’t without reason. With Hope already considering a move to join Liam and Co. over at Logan, the scene has now been set for Brooke to follow suit.

Picture it: Ridge refuses to oust Steffy and install Brooke, who will have left herself no choice but to take a stand. All hell will break loose, she’ll accuse her hubby of terrible things, and Hope will tell her they have an alternative: the door is open at Logan. “Think of it, mom! You can reclaim your name and your legacy!”

Yup, we’re sure that Brooke making a big move to replace Steffy at Hope’s behest is going to backfire and will change everything. For better or worse? Well, SOAPS readers, that remains to be seen.
