Cullum Informs Cassius That Jason Didn’t Shoot Him — and an Unhinged Pascal Blames Lucas for Marco’s Death
Thursday, April 2, 2026: Today on General Hospital, Sonny advises Laura to do Ezra’s press conference, Dante questions Cullum about Jason, and Sonny and Laura turn to Ric for help with Sidwell.

Laura stops by Sonny’s and says she’s sorry about what’s going on with Jason, but she’s got another issue. She doesn’t believe Jason shot Cullum, but says she’s being advised to publicly rebuke and distance herself from him and Sonny by Ezra, as Sidwell feels Jason killed Marco for him. Sonny swears he didn’t have Marco killed, but Ezra is right, and she should do this to keep Sidwell off her back.
Laura asks what about him? Won’t he be more vulnerable without Jason? Sonny says he’s working to bring Jason home, and Laura says she’s going to reach out to Robert for help, too. Sonny then asks Laura for a favor. He says Ric knows everything, so she needs to trust his brother to help them bring Sidwell down.
Ric Impresses Liz
Ric stops by the hospital and asks Liz if there are any updates on the WSB agent who was shot. Liz assumes he’s asking because Jason’s been accused. She feels they shouldn’t discuss Jason, given that Ric always hated him, and he is Jake’s father. Ric is not here to hurt Jason.
Ric takes her aside and says Jason’s been a good friend to her and to Sonny, so he’s doing this to help his brother. He asks Liz if she’ll help him. She tells him Cullum will recover, and she appreciates his making the effort to help Jason. Ric thanks her, and promises he won’t let the past, including his issues with Jason, affect their future. Liz kisses him for continuing to surprise her.
Britt Slaps Her Bestie, Brad!
Brad shows up at Britt’s office, hugs her, and tells her that Jason getting shipped off is for the best. He says she’s way better off without him, which prompts Britt to slap him across his face.
Britt cries that he has no idea what happened, and that everything that could have gone wrong did. After filling him in on what happened, Britt says Jason told her to say he shot Cullum, but she didn’t see him do it. They need to figure out who Jason is protecting and why.
Britt says she’s still in danger from Cullum, who is going to live. Brad takes swigs from a flask, and Britt says she has an idea and tells him to follow her.
What Does Cullum Tell Dante?
Dante stops by Cullum’s room, and before asking about the shooting, wonders why he issued an arrest warrant for Jason. Ross says it was because he’s a criminal who shot him in the back. Dante again asks why the warrant, which came before the shooting, but Ross says it’s on a need-to-know basis, and none of this falls under his jurisdiction.
Cullum says the WSB did him and Port Charles a favor by taking Jason off his hands. Dante still needs answers. He says Jason wouldn’t answer their questions, and Britt said Jason shot him. The commissioner notices a look of surprise on Cullum’s face.
Cullum tells Dante that the WSB doesn’t owe him answers or anything for that matter. Before he goes, Dante asks Cullum how he knew Jason and Britt would be at the pier. Ross says a good agent follows their hunches. Dante adds, “So does a good cop.”
As Dante is headed out, Liz flags him down to check on how he’s doing after all that happened. Dante says he’s trying to make sense of it all, and they both agree something is off and Jason’s actions aren’t in the norm for Jason. Dante says now Cullum is stonewalling him, and it’s clear he’s hiding something.
Ric, Laura and Sonny Strategize
Ric heads to Sonny’s, where Laura is still talking to his brother. Laura tells Ric that Sonny isn’t the only one being blackmailed by Sidwell; she is, too. They discuss what happened that night, and Sonny wants Laura protected, as Sidwell will likely come after him.
“Nathan” Advises Lulu
On the pier, “Nathan” asks Lulu how Rocco is doing. She’s not sure, and she’s terrified for him. This is torturing Rocco, and he likely wants to tell someone. She wonders whether she should take Rocco to a therapist and feels they can trust Kevin.
“Nathan” advises against it, saying he could tell Laura, the mayor, and the more people that know, the more trouble it creates. Lulu just wishes there were a way out of this mess. She says they know Cullum is dirty, so maybe she could look into him, but “Nathan” says that is also a bad idea. If they dig more, they may make the situation worse. Eventually, Lulu agrees to leave it alone for her son, and “Nathan” embraces her.
Later, “Nathan” heads to Cullum’s room at GH and says, “I’m here for Sidwell.”
Going Ons at Bobbie’s
At Bobbie’s, Rocco talks with Gio, who can’t stop thinking about Danny never getting to see his dad again. Gio says from what he’s heard, Jason has made it back from impossible odds before, so he believes Jason can make it back home.
Later, Rocco knocks his soda over, and Gio says they should change his bandage because it’s soaked through with soda. Rocco says he’ll try to dry it off and runs into the bathroom just as Lulu walks in.
Gio sees Lulu and tells her what happened with Rocco. He gets her a cup of coffee as Rocco returns, and assures his mom that everything is fine and that he’s told no one anything.
Also at the diner, Felicia meets with Emma about bringing her Grandma home. Felicia reminds her that Anna still has outstanding charges in France and that Kevin recommended the private clinic she’s in, where Anna needs to be. Felicia says Anna’s sick and her mind needs to heal.
Sidwell Asks Lucas to do What?
At Wyndemere, Sidwell tells Lucas he will find and bring Marco’s killer to justice. Sidwell then changes the subject to their grief, wondering if they could lean on each other in this time, and that he’d like him to stay at Wyndemere.
Lucas says he feels lost and just wants to feel close to Marco. If Sidwell means it, he will stay here. Sidwell embraces him.
Is Lucas In Danger?
Later, Pascal appears and seethes at the doctor, “I hear you are staying. I was under the impression you were leaving.” Pascal says he’ll make sure his room is clean, and Lucas notes he is drunk. Pascal screams, “I am you fool; I’m grieving because of you!” He then knocks over a tray in anger.
Lucas tells Pascal he knows he loved Marco too, but Pascal yells, “You didn’t love him. You used him!”
The Scene of the Crime
Britt and Brad head to the pier to see if there is anything that can help Britt remember what happened that night.
In the Show’s Final Moments
At Bobbie’s, Gio checks in with Emma after Felicia takes off. She’s writing to her Grandma, but she doesn’t feel it’s enough. Gio notes that Anna likely finds comfort in the letters and in hearing about her life. Emma thanks him for getting her through this.
Lulu tells Rocco they should go home and get his bandage changed, but he says he can’t stay hiding at home forever.
At the hospital, Liz asks Dante how Rocco is. Dante says he’s fine, why. Liz brings up the hand wound that Lulu brought him in to get looked at, and she’d hate for it to get infected.
On the pier, Britt wonders who is important enough for Jason to protect. They go over suspects: Carly, Sonny, and Danny… Brad says Jason chose to go down for this, so if she loves him, accept his choice.
At Wyndemere, Pascal screams at Lucas that he doesn’t know what he was after, but he never loved Marco and was a snooping snake. He screams, “You should be dead, not him!”
At Sonny’s, Ric agrees with his brother that Laura should hold the press conference. It will buy them time with Sidwell, and Sonny believes that in time, Sidwell will find out who really killed Marco and go after them.
Finally, Cassius tells Cullum that Sidwell is not doing well and would like him to find out who killed Marco using his WSB connection. Cullum claims it’s obvious it was Sonny. He then drops the bomb: Jason wasn’t the one who shot him.
