Days of Our Lives Week of June 22 Preview: Two Exciting Returns – Holly Hospitalized – Xander Goes Digging
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for week of June 22-26 reveals that a couple of big comebacks are brewing.
Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will also land in the hospital while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) does some investigating, so some exciting shockers are on the way.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) looking through a photo album – and there’s an important reason why!
Days will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Deidre Hall’s debut as Marlena, which is certainly quite a milestone.
Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) will arrive at Marlena’s door for a catch-up session, so it’ll be nice to see him again.
It looks like Paul will be back in town because his husband, Andrew Donovan (Colton Little), will have important ISA matters to deal with in Salem.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) wasn’t happy about Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) plan to work the personal relationship angle to get closer to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Since Andrew is Cat’s boss, he’ll find out what she’s doing and warn that it’s too dangerous.
Although Andrew will forbid Cat from doing this, Cat will hint that she’s already started.
In the end, Andrew may relent since Cat is already making progress when it comes to getting EJ to trust her and divulge potential intel.
As for Xander, Days spoilers say he’ll make a phone call and push to see everything from DiMera Pharmaceuticals from two years ago.
Xander will carry out an investigation and apparently report back to Sarah since it looks like she’ll ask him to do this.
Meanwhile, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will have another fainting episode and will ultimately be admitted to the hospital.
It looks like Holly’s blood work will show that she’s testing positive for Coriseal, the same drug that was connected to the deaths of Sarah’s lost patient and her sister.
Since Holly is on a new antidepressant, it may be part of whatever tainted drugs are coming out of DiMera Pharmaceuticals.
Days’ weekly preview video also shows Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) finding an old Italian bank note hidden in the chessboard box, so that’ll bring another layer to the mystery they’re working to solve.
Later, Belle will make her way to Marlena’s place, where she’ll be delighted to see Paul.
Marlena will admit they’re taking a little stroll down memory lane, so Belle will guess she’s hitching a ride!
