Dylan Extends An Olive-Branch to Electra — and Ridge Lands On the Hot Seat With Brooke
em>Thursday, May 14, 2026: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Electra overhears Dylan’s true feelings, Hope gives Liam an update, and Brooke wants to know the verdict.

At Forrester, Steffy’s outraged by Ridge even considering giving Brooke her job. He can’t ask this of her! Over at Brooke’s, she’s frustrated by the lack of an update from her husband. Hope reminds her that Steffy won’t go down without a fight. At Logan, Katie’s sure Brooke’s doing this in order to compete with her. Bill’s sure it’s not going to happen. Liam states that it could be the only thing that keeps Hope over there.
In the design office at Forrester, the Nose gives Dylan an education on fragrances and hands her one to wear on her next date. Dylan isn’t focused on dating right now. She’s all about work and repairing her friendship with Electra.
Dylan enthuses about her new position as Daphne’s assistant, but finds a way to circle back to how much she misses her friendship with Electra… as Electra arrives in the doorway. Dylan hopes she’ll feel good about her being there someday soon. Electra deigns to congratulate Dylan on her new position, prompting the former art camp teacher to apologize again and express her gratitude.
Speculation Station
At Logan, Bill chirps that the Dressmaker doesn’t have the spine to tell his daughter to step down. Katie takes a call and then rejoins the men for more speculation about whether or not Ridge can force Steffy out of the co-CEO chair. Liam recalls that she pried the company away from Bill… there’s no way she’ll give up her position, which will impact Hope’s decision. After that, it’s time for another round of “what will happen to Katie’s relationship with her sister?”
New Drinking Game Word Unlocked
At Brooke’s place, she tells Hope that Ridge needs to assure Steffy that they’d all be collaborating. She will be running Forrester as “co-CEO” (take your first shot!), but everyone will work together. “I’m confident Ridge will get through to his daughter.”
Repeating lines from the previous several episodes, Hope and Brooke continue to go on and on about being made to feel second-rate over at Forrester. Brooke declares she’ll take her rightful place as the “co-CEO” of Forrester. Take a shot!
Drink again, because now Brooke’s listing off how she can help Hope as “co-CEO.” Hope’s delighted and they hug.
Don’t Do It
At Forrester, Steffy closes the door for emphasis, and gives an abbreviated retread of her speech from the previous episode, ending with, “Don’t choose Brooke over your own daughter.”
Steffy warns her father he’s going to push the company into chaos. Hope got into her mother’s ear about this CEO garbage to get back at her for delaying her line… it’s obvious (to anyone but Ridge). Steffy says Brooke has earned her spot there, but she’s not going to have her job. Sounding a lot like Brooke herself, Steffy demands, “Tell me you understand that? Tell me you agree!”
Steffy gives Ridge some other options to let Brooke have the spotlight. But in that office, they work together. They are, and always will be, “co-CEOs” of Forrester Creations. Drink!
The Final Scenes
In the design office, Daphne leaves Dylan and a reluctant Electra alone to discuss their friendship. Dylan tells Electra that this brand-new adventure would be even better if she got to share it with her. “I meant it. I miss you, Electra. I miss our friendship so much.”
At Logan, Liam’s grinning at photos of Hope on his laptop when she walks in and kisses him jubilantly. She and her mom are confident that Ridge will come through… at least he’d better. She’s grateful for Liam’s offer at Logan, but she created something at Forrester she’s proud of and can’t abandon it. Especially if Ridge asks Steffy to step down as “co-CEO.” Shot!
Ridge arrives at home with a gown he’s designed for Brooke, his muse. We’re gonna call it a peace-offering as she asks if he convinced Steffy to step down so she can be his “co-CEO.” Bottoms up!
