Nick’s Drug Addiction Leads to Disaster — and Cane Makes a Shocking Announcement

At Crimson Lights, Cane tells Holden they’re practically family now. They chat about the Malcolm situation and how it still has Holden’s head spinning. When Cane explains that he was tested to be a donor for Malcolm, Holden can’t help but wonder if that was for purely altruistic reasons or for Lily.

At Society, Lily is distracted by thoughts of Cane and the test when Devon and Nate join her. She updates them on Ashby, and wet blanket Devon says that sounds like a red flag given he assumes he’s doing it to win her back. Lily’s appalled that he’s even thinking about that when the only thing that matters is saving Malcolm. What is wrong with him?

Abby interrupts the squabbling with a delivery from Devon’s attorney. He opens it and fumes that his request that Mariah’s plea be overturned has been rejected. He’s beside himself over the injustice of this.

His wife thinks he’s being irrational so he rants about her not being upset that Mariah isn’t facing real consequences. They argue until she exits. Stephanie joins the family and Lily explains that Cane and Holden are on their way over with news.

Vegas, Baby

In the abandoned gas station, Matt aggressively drinks water whilst mocking Sharon and Noah. They each beg him to let the other go, which he finds highly entertaining. Finally, he decides to leave them to freeze or starve together. After wishing them “Adios,” he walks out, continuing to spy on them via a videofeed on his phone.

Sharon and Noah unsuccessfully try jiggling the pole they are tied to and wonder if Clark has tricked Nick into coming after him. Might he be on the way?

Nick, in fact, is on the way, along with Adam, who is starting to wish he hadn’t agreed to let Nick drive. Adam reminds him that he can’t be anyone’s hero if he’s dead in a ditch. He offers to drive while Nick gets his fix. They can sort him out after. Growling, Nick pulls over.

After switching places, Adam urges his twitchy brother to “do what he has to do”. Nick pops a pill. His brother promises they will get him help once this is over. They get back on the road and soon pull up at the garage. They notice there are no cars in sight. Adam grabs his gun, and they head off to investigate.

Sienna Throws Herself Into the Mix

Back in the Vegas hotel suite, Riza’s annoyed by Chelsea’s pacing, and starts taunting her about how Adam hasn’t put a ring on her finger yet. She’s seen the glint in his eyes and thinks he’s tempted to leave her for the poker tables. Riza goads her about her days as a scammer and Chelsea accuses her of being unable to keep a man.

A knock at the door causes panic until they let Sienna in. She explains that Sharon and Noah jetted off a few hours ago. The three of them worry they have been used as bait to lure Nick into Matt’s trap. Sienna is ready to rush out to the garage herself, but the one thing Riza and Chelsea agree on is that that’s a bad idea. Sienna isn’t about to trust the woman who was having an affair with her husband.

The Final Scenes

At Society, Cane joins Lily and her family and announces he’s a match. Everyone is thrilled… even Devon.

In Vegas, after much bickering about who was cheating on whom, Riza relents and finally gives Sienna the address to Matt’s garage. She hopes Chelsea will tag along because she’s so annoying.

Back at the garage, Adam and Nick kick their way inside and immediately find Sharon and Noah, still cuffed to a pole. As Adam searches for keys, Nick grabs a tool. But before he can use it on the chains, he goes into a cold sweat and collapses on the floor!
