Sheila Gives Taylor a Chilling Warning — and Deke Pulls A Fast One on Hope

In Taylor’s office, she and Deacon break their embrace as Sheila steps back from the doorway. But she listens as Deacon tells the doc that the hits keep coming. He’ll get through this… but will his wife be by his side?

Deacon tells Taylor to sign him up for a long-term contract. “I’d like to keep seeing you.” In the hallway, Sheila looks tense.

Who Walks In?

In Forrester’s showroom, Ridge marvels at Brooke’s compassion for Taylor. The blonde says she wants her to find happiness. Ridge asks if she thinks that will happen with a new man. Somehow, Hope and Carter’s break up gets brought into it. Ridge shrugs that Carter seems fine. Brooke says Taylor will be too. They’re making out when Carter walks in. Talk turns to Hope’s line. Carter hopes the next big thing in designers is in the pile in the office.

Will Deke Pull It Off?

In the design office, Hope and Deke don’t like seeing their dad in pain… but maybe this will wake him up so he can end his relationship with Sheila and move on without her. Suddenly, she gets a message and has to go to the cutting floor.

Once alone, Deke grabs his portfolio and crosses the hall to the main office, where he adds it to the pile of portfolios from prospective designers.

Back in the design office, Deke is rejoined by Hope, and then Deacon, who brags about his kids to deflect from their concern for him. He admits it’s been a struggle and thanks them for supporting him. “But you’re not the only one who’s helping me out.” Hope and Deke learn that he’s seeing Taylor… professionally, of course.

Hope and Deke exchange a glance as he marvels that the doctor is pretty remarkable. Switching gears, Deacon reminds Hope if she needs a designer, Deke’s right there. Deke wants to make it on his own merit because of his own hard work… not favors.

In the main office, Brooke, Carter and Ridge are still discussing Hope’s line as they browse the designer portfolios. Ridge asks if he’s OK. Carter nods. They’re still friends. Just then, Hope comes in and confirms it. She spots — who else? — but Deke’s portfolio in the pile and is astounded by what she sees.

Passing the sketches around, Ridge even agrees they’re fresh and unique. He thinks this could really work for her line. Hope agrees and wonders, “Who is this mystery designer?”

Across the hall, Deacon notices his son seems keyed up. Deke asks where things stand with him and Sheila. Deacon changes the subject, urging Deke to use Hope’s connections to his benefit. Deke wants to be hired on talent and merit. Refusing to let the Sheila thing drop, Deke suggests there may be someone out there for his father who is dependable and honest (perhaps someone like, say… Taylor?).

What’s Sheila’s Next Move?

In Taylor’s office, she’s surprised when Sheila lets herself in. She asks what she’s doing there. Sheila thinks she knows the answer to that. Taylor insists she doesn’t know why she’s there. Sheila sneers about her doctor-patient confidentiality and says she knows she’s seeing Deacon.

Sheila will support it if Taylor can help Deacon save their marriage. She takes full responsibility for secret-keeping. Taylor chastises, “You knew she was dangerous and you didn’t warn anybody.” Sheila for some reason thought it would be different and that Luna would change. Taylor gawps, “She shot you! And Liam!” Sheila repeats that she’s sorry.

Taylor asks what she wants. Sheila hopes Taylor can be unbiased in the advice she gives her husband. Deacon is everything to her. “I’m gong to do everything I possibly can to save my marriage.” Flashing to Taylor and Deacon hugging, Sheila intones, “I won’t allow anything or anyone to come between Deacon and me.”
