At Bill and Katie’s place, Liam works to convince Hope that she’d be better off at Logan given she’s not a Forrester. If she starts her own line there, she’d have everyone’s support and would come first. Bill erupts, “Genius idea from my son!”
Hope warns this would complicate things. Liam doesn’t hear her saying no. She can work with people who respect and value her. Katie would love to work with her, “But your mother. She would be even more upset… that’s kind of the last thing I want right now.”
Bill and Liam continue the campaign regardless. Hope points out she’s not a designer. Liam argues that her name is known around the world; she’s a trend-setter. Liam thinks it’s the solution Katie’s been looking for. “Come on, Hope,” he coaxes, “What do you say?” Liam and Bill keep haranguing Hope until we’re sure she’ll agree just to make it stop.
Bone to Pick
Brooke and Ridge arrive at home from Eric’s and continue their talk about Logan crashing and burning. Brooke sulks that her sister Katie is someone she doesn’t recognize anymore. Ridge grunts about his father feeling humiliated. Brooke doesn’t want to be at war with her sister, but it’s too late.
They go over Donna being caught in the middle and Brooke complains about Katie some more. She warns her husband there’s another war brewing as well: Steffy is keeping Hope and her line in limbo. Ridge explains why they’re focusing on couture. Brooke understands, but Hope doesn’t.
Lucky Night?
At Forrester, Carter and Daphne banter about her new fragrance. He finds it as intoxicating as she is and they kiss and canoodle. As always, they discuss having a family. She pulls out yet another pregnancy test and hopes it’s the last one. He hopes it’s their lucky night.
Daphne returns with the test and Carter gushes that he has a good feeling about this. They moon about what seeing the plus sign would mean. Why do we already know it’s going to be negative? Aaaand… it is. Carter comforts his disappointed wife.
Bygones?
In the design office, Electra’s working on jewelry when Dylan walks in with a package of gems for her. Electra still isn’t used to her working there. They rehash Dylan “over-staying” at Will’s. She notes she had nowhere to go, but she should have left anyway. Electra concedes that Will wouldn’t have let that happen. Dylan agrees he’s protective of her, but he loves Electra.
Dylan explains that this job has made all the difference for her. Electra’s glad… she’s also glad she finally did the right thing and moved out of Will’s.
The Final Scenes
Dylan continues being too good to be true as she tells Electra she’s sorry for hurting her and that both RJ and Will want to be with her. They both have tears in their eyes as Dylan hopes they can one day be friends again. Electra exits abruptly and Dylan’s phone rings.
She answers to a disguised voice, “Dylan, it’s me.” She panics, “Who are you? What do you want?” He intones, “I told you. We have unfinished business.’ She explodes, “What do you want from me?!” Deciding she doesn’t care, she tells the voice not to call her again and disconnects.
At Brooke’s place, Ridge assures his wife that Hope’s a team player. Brooke just wishes she could say the same about Katie. It’s almost like she’s clairvoyant as she sighs and hopes that nothing will happen to pull them further apart.
Over at Katie and Bill’s, he makes a grand speech to convince Hope to defect to Logan. She can call her new line “Hope.” Liam chimes in and it all becomes quite the dog and pony show. Hope worries about her mother and Katie, but Liam tells her that Brooke’s being petty. “Have we convinced you?” he wheedles.
Hope tells Katie, “I’m not a designer.” They’ll get her the best that money can buy. Hope muses, “If I left Forrester Creations and came to Logan…” Katie finishes, “…Brooke would kill me.”
