Young & Restless Exclusive: Tamara Braun Ponders the Twist That Could Bond Sienna and Nick Forevermore

For months, many a Young & Restless fan has expected something to happen between Nick and son Noah’s girlfriend, Sienna. At first, it was because of how badly Noah wanted the older woman out of Noah’s life. Then, it was because the sparks that still fly between Noah and old flame Audra. Now, it looks as if Nick’s addiction could be the thing that brings him and Sienna together.

“I guess it would make for an interesting triangle,” Tamara Braun tells Soaps.com. “But people can have chemistry that isn’t romantic, and it can still become something really interesting. You know, like when you feel like you’ve met somebody before, or you meet somebody for the first time, and you’re instantly best friends, like, ‘How the heck are we grooving so well?’

“So maybe that’s what [the audience] feeling” between Sienna and Nick, she continues. “But there is some chemistry.”

As Nick continues to struggle with addiction, he and Sienna could be drawn closer if and/or when she steps in to help. “She has some history with that, with her brother, who she loves who had trouble drugs,” Braun notes. So if Sienna intervened with Nick, “whether it’s romantic, [it could be just a case of] ‘I want to try and get it right when I wasn’t able to before.

“I’m not writing this,” she adds, “but I think it would be beautiful.”
